Service That Speaks Volumes
So, I had a FIRST happen to me on the 15th of April. Checked in, tagged my roll-on as usual with the smaller aircrafts, boarded the plane a little early… and just as everything is going smoothly, an announcement comes over the speaker.
Slight delay on a maintenance issue… waiting for the mechanic to show up on-site. Ok, we were a ‘tish early anyway, no problem. Half an hour in… still waiting. Guests are starting to discuss among themselves and with neighbors their connecting flights in Denver.
Over an hour in, another announcement from the pilot, “mechanical issue, no available part, so this plane is not operational. Everyone will have to deplane, and a ticket agent will help you with tickets.” I gather my things, head back into the airport, and see this LONG line of disgruntled passengers. I sit back down in the gate departure area next to the line of fellow travers I was on the plane with. Smile on my face, I put on my headset and go ahead and call my friends at Campbell Travel!
The wonderful representative (and they are ALL wonderful, EVERY ONE) who answered the phone after I explained what was going on asked if I minded if she called me back in just a few minutes. Just as promised, she returned my call to let me know she had called my hotels I had prebooked, as well as my rental car company, and got them canceled for me, FREE of any penalties of course, and asked if there was anything else she could do to help. Taking a crazy situation and handling all the issues–while I felt bad for everyone in that line and even worse for the lady at the ticket counter. I got an Uber home with that same smile on my face.
Moral of the story: Let Campbell Travel handle all your travel needs—so you can sit there with a smile. Best in class service EVERY time. I can’t stop recommending them. They are the best in the industry. Thank you, Campbell Travel.
Sherry Walton is my “go to” when needed to arrange travel that cannot be built into our company’s Campbell Travel online site. Sherry creates solutions for all my needs. Just this week, I was wanting to book a business trip to Orlando and my wife wanted to join me and go to Disney/Universal while I worked. There was a day recently when Kristi contacted me after her work hours to assist me with a traveler’s cancelled flight. She went above and beyond what was expected of her to help the traveler in need.
Not only is Kristi a hard worker but she also has such a great attitude no matter what the day may bring. I absolutely love her sense of humor, and she is a very kind and gracious person. Her bubbly personality shines through the phone when I talk to her.
